Refill guide:
Compare the diameter of your bag to the chart below. Remember, each refill bag contains 3 cubic feet of pure Virgin polystyrene beads. These are estimates.

 

  • 27-inch diameter (4.5 cubic feet) – would require around 1-2 bag of refill.
  • 32-inch diameter (7 cubic feet) – would require around 2-3 bags of refill.
  • 37-inch diameter (9 cubic feet) – would require around 3 bags of refill.
  • 48-inch diameter (18 cubic feet) – would require around 6 bags of refill.

    I brought a bean bag chair for my 3yr old granddaughter and she loves it. I got the medium size and it was smaller than I thought it would be. Since I was planning to purchase another one for my other 3yr old granddaughter whose a little smaller than the first grand, I decided to get a large. To get the color I wanted and to keep the price down I went with a different brand. This one was big very big which is not a problem since myself and my grown son sits on it. I've had the chairs for about two weeks now and I did have to put some filling in the medium one to make it a little fuller but all in all we like the chairs and the quality seems to be good. I can honestly say I am please with my purchases.

    The beans were shipped in a huge plastic bag. The large opening of the bag made it very hard to get the refill beans into the beanbag chair. What a mess. The beans went everywhere. I have refilled my chairs before and it is a tricky job, but the packaging of these refill beans made it next to impossible. The quality of the beans was also poor. They were uneven, and had lots of bean "dust."

      Perfect amount of refill to plump up our daughters flat bean bag. I used a previous comments suggestion about using a cup to fill the bag. I used a tall Tupperware container and the refilling process went quickly, and cleanly. Just a few stray beads I had to sweep up.
